Google is expanding the Skills ecosystem with a dedicated “Skills Library,” populated with pre-built Gemini prompts. Users can add these pre-built Skills to their personal collection and customize them to suit their specific needs. The system also retains the existing model selection options available within Gemini, allowing users to choose between “Pro” (for higher accuracy and more complex tasks) and “Fast” (for quicker, though potentially less reliable, results). The rollout of Skills begins today, available by default for all Chrome users with the language set to US English, and does not require a paid AI plan.
